Abby Donovan is interested in the urgency and absurdity of what she thinks of as necessarily temporary and site-specific constructions of meaning. The probable pause of materiality. Blake) at the European Ceramic Work Centre (.ekwc) in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands; and in September 2009 “THESE THE HEAVENS OF MY BRAIN,” a performance in the playground as part of the 13th Annual DUMBO Art Under the Bridge Festival in Brooklyn, NY.
